OUR NICARAGUA
HOME IN MASAYA!
This IS our home! It was probably a
maid's quarters in the past. We are
behind a big house where
Grandma (legal and in Miami)
allows her 3 deported grandsons
to live. We live beside Grandma's
brother who has a BIG BIG house,
who is a former, corrupt senator.
There is a very secure gated area
for our security, mainly to calm me
if Nathan is traveling.
This is our living & dining room,
den and 2 offices. Guess who has
the left side? The back wall is not
really messy, it's all the bible &
tracts, sound system, supplies.
Right side of the previous room, my
office. The big tub is my wash tub, gotta
put it somewhere!
This side is the kitchen and closet
and shed (man tools). Fridge is to
keep drinks cold and cooking
consists of a hot pot for raman
noodles and coffee. No inside
water (other than shower) so teeth
brushing & rinsing of cereal bowls
is outside.
A friend sent cool
orange fabric
which I made into
the bathroom
door.
We have a inside
bathroom and
toilet-yee haw! It's cold
water but after a little
Hokey Pokey, ya turn
yourself around and,
well... you get it! You
get used to your
knees touching the
wall, really....
Other side of kitchen is our
dresser drawers and smelling
pretty stuff.

Thank-you for the I
were so blessed on
the mission trip. It
hit hard once we
were home. I am just
so thankful to the
Lord that He let me
be a part of what He
did. He is so good to
me! I will continue to
pray for you and
Nathan and your
ministry. God bless
you both. We are
already praying
about going back to
Nicaragua!!!
What can I say? Leftover
fabric sewn together (to
accent my visors). Nathan
hung the curtains and I
wasn't about to complain
that 6 inches was hanging
off the side.
Our bedroom. I tried to
include the ceiling. The tin
roof (otherwise know as the
KITTY BROTHEL) doesn't
connect to the wall to allow
air to come in (and a rat or 2
but that's been quite a while
back).
Another curtain for the
door way (fan blowing)
and the curtain on the
left is the front window.
Leaving to go out, big house
on the left, BIG BIG house on
right.
Entertainment
center!  We
splurged on a
fridge 3 years
ago, the TV
just recently.
We're
on Grandma's
cable.
Laundry room - may the washer
RIP. It's hand scrubbing from
now on!
Clotheslines. I had just spray
starched Nathan's shirts, they're
drying and then I'll iron (I LOVE TO
IRON) on the rickety iron board
that cost an arm and a leg.
This is a lot of pictures for a 4
room house!
